Customs: Russia’s imports of Chinese light cars rise 40% in 2022

MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s light cars imports from China grew by 40% on the year to over 117,000 units in 2022 making China the largest exporter in the segment, the Federal Customs Service said on Wednesday.

Imports of Chinese trucks quadrupled on the year to almost 31,000 units, and of buses and microbuses increased by 68% to 2,000 units in 2022, the service added.
